1. Our Service

MelbAgents is a free lead generation and agent matching service that connects Melbourne home buyers, sellers and investors with qualified local real estate agents. Our service is provided at no cost to consumers.

2. No Guarantee of Outcome

While we take care to match you with suitable agents, MelbAgents does not guarantee any particular outcome including sale price, purchase price, or transaction timeline. The performance of any agent is their own responsibility.

3. Agent Relationships

Real estate agents in our network are independent contractors and are not employees or representatives of MelbAgents. Any agreements you enter into with an agent are between you and that agent directly. MelbAgents is not a party to any real estate transaction.

4. How We Are Compensated

MelbAgents receives a referral fee from agents upon the successful settlement of a transaction. This fee is paid by the agent and does not affect the cost of our service to you as a consumer.

5. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using our service. Providing false or misleading information may result in an unsuitable agent match and termination of our service to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, MelbAgents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our service or any real estate transaction facilitated through our platform.

7. Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
