Why MelbAgents exists
Buying or selling property in Melbourne involves three different professionals. A mortgage broker for the loan. A conveyancer for the legal side. A real estate agent for the property itself. Most people work out who to use by Googling, asking a friend, or going with whoever called them first. The result is often three professionals who do not know each other, are not aligned on your timeline, and were not chosen because they are right for your situation.
We started MelbAgents because there was no easy way to get all three sorted at once, with someone actually thinking about whether the people you are introduced to are a good fit.
What we do
You fill out a single short form. A real person reviews your details and shortlists professionals who fit your suburb, your price bracket and your goals. Within 24 hours you receive an email with one to three matches per role you asked for, plus a short note on why each one was picked.
You decide who to speak to. There is no obligation to use anyone we introduce.
What we do not do
We do not run an algorithm that pairs you with whoever is paying the most for leads in your postcode. We do not send your details to a long list of professionals and let them race to call you. We do not pretend to be a giant national platform. We are a small Melbourne operation that does the research properly.
How we are paid
Professionals in our network pay us a referral fee only when something successfully settles or completes. Our service costs you nothing, and the fees you pay your broker, conveyancer or agent are not affected by working with us.
